Late this August, Caroline & Company, 311 South Providence, Columbia, MO, went on line with a 10-page website: www.carolineandcompany.com. Besides describing and facilitating Caroline’s extensive office-support services, the website has a diverse Community page with over 30 helpful links to local: government agencies, event calendars, entertainment, sports, recreation, colleges, universities, media outlets, and business organizations. The Community page also offers direct links to area movies and TV listings, local weather forecasts, and even a toll-free phone-numbers directory.

Another community-friendly page on the site is the Report, a seasonal newsletter, of business-industry “helps.” The fall issue has everything from website recommendations, to U. S. Postal Service links, to relevant news, to weird business trivia.

When questioned about the website’s community focus, Caroline’s founder and owner, Caroline J. Maher said, “We wanted our website to be something our clients, employees, and friends would have reasons to visit again and again.” Maher indicated the site would be expanded as the community and staffing industry grow.
