Local Business Leads Effort To Collect Socks For Children

Caroline & Co. is teaming up with Rainbow House, a local emergency shelter for abused and neglected children, in an effort to provide new socks for needy children.  Individuals or businesses are encouraged to drop off new socks at the Caroline & Co. office, 311 Providence Road.  The socks will be collected Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The drive ends Dec. 22.  Rainbow House’s executive director, Sharon Tepper, said, “Socks are the hardest clothing item for us to come by our kids.”
