STAFFING SERVICE LINKS NOT-FOR-PROFITS IN HOLIDAY EFFORT

Caroline & Company, a long-time Columbia, office-personnel staffing service, has linked area not-for-profit organizations from A to V in a Holiday awareness effort.

Individuals trying to decide where and how to give Holiday gifts of time, merchandise, money and even a little bit of themselves, can click on: www.carolineandcompany.com’s Winter Report page for direct links to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Central Missouri Food Bank,  Missouri Lion’s Eye Research Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Rainbow House, Ronald Mc Donald House, Salvation Army, United Way, and Voluntary Action Center.  Why, there is even a link for downloading a tissue/organ-donor-card.

When asked about this public service and awareness effort, Caroline’s owner, Caroline J. Maher said, “We wanted to provide our clients and friends a place where they could easily access information on a wide array of worthwhile Columbia organizations.” 

Maher further commented, “Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa – they all seem to bring out the best in people; and if you’re a not-for-profit that depends on contributions, you sure hope it does.”
